South Bend Convention Center

The Century Center or better known as the South Bend Convention Center. The Century Center was having trouble with their tempered glass skylights. Without warning they would shatter and rain glass pebbles down on the walkway. After researching several options they decided installing MAGNUM SAFETY FILM was the best solution.

Challenges:

• Most of the glass was 40' in the air.
• Some panes were as high as 90'.
• Each panel was a two person install.
• The glass had not been cleaned for 30 years.
• In the middle of the day the glass would get too hot to touch. So work had to be done early in the morning and late in the evening.
• All together we had the project complete in 8 weeks, with rave reviews from the Century Center staff for our professionalism.
